  • Iain MacRae
    Iain MacRae Osteopath and Founder

    Iain trained in London and has over 16 years experience having set up and run multiple Osteopathic clinics in rural, remote and urban areas of London, Scotland and Australia.

    Iain is experienced in treating a diverse range of people from all walks of life to optimise health…. from newborns, elite athletes, professional musicians, dancers, physical theatre performers to trades people, office workers, retirees and families with general musculo-skeletal complaints.

    Iain practices both structural and cranial techniques.

    Outside of clinic time, Iain is an adventurous and active person who enjoys travel and outdoor pursuits with his young family.

  • Dr James Sewell
    Dr James Sewell Osteopath

    James has recently relocated to Brisbane from Melbourne to practice at Teneriffe Osteopathy. As the dux of is graduating year level, James has a sound understanding of the sciences informing contemporary Osteopathic Medicine.

    A Kwong Lee Dow young scholar, he completed his Bachelor of Science, majoring in human structure and function at The University of Melbourne. He then completed his osteopathic studies at RMIT University, graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy), with first class honours.

    From 2014-2016, James tutored undergraduate Health Science students. He completed a year-long coveted student exchange to Oxford Brookes University in the U.K, being one of only two Australian osteopathic students to be accepted into this program. In his final year, James completed a month-long placement at SportsMed Orthopaedic Hospital in Mumbai, India, treating a plethora of chronic musculoskeletal injuries across a diverse patient demographic.

    James amalgamates manual therapy with musculoskeletal rehabilitation and pain neuroscience education; empowering patients to prevent injurious relapse and optimise quality of life. He has worked in a variety of work environments, including administration, hospitality, retail, and recruitment, and therefore has a good insight into the influence of the workplace on an individual’s recovery.

    James is a keen runner, cyclist, and rower; eager to assist other amateur and elite sportsmen and women.

    James is a big advocate for individualised healthcare, and thus tailors each patient’s management plan to the context of their health and social environment

  • Dr Nicola Hughes
    Dr Nicola Hughes Osteopath

    After graduating from the University of Western Sydney in 2005 with Honours, Nicola practiced Osteopathy in Double Bay, Sydney.

    She has an interest in structural Osteopathy with an emphasis on biomechanics, rehabilitation and anti/post-natal Osteopathy.

    Prior to studying osteopathy Nicola was an intensive care nurse for 7 years. This background in acute medicine gives Nicola an insight into a patient’s diagnosis and treatment which she can then incorporate into her osteopathic practice.

    Outside of Osteopathy Nicola enjoys regular exercise and running after her three young children.

    Rhiona Robertson Naturopath

    Rhiona is an experienced Naturopath with a passion for natural health, education, pregnancy and wellness care.

    Rhiona believes everyone can live their life to the fullest and that ill-health or dis-ease are merely stepping stones on your way to optimal health and wellbeing.

    Through integrating her knowledge of health and passion for education, Rhiona can help you to not only understand why your body is showing symptoms but she will create a plan with you to achieve your goals.

    Juliette Quentin


    Juliette was born in France and is interested in arts, music, theatre, outdoor activities and traveling.

    After several years of traveling and working as a Clown Doctor in Reunion Island, Juliette has decided to settle in Australia with a strong desire to help people.

    Massage stood out as the best way for her to do so.

    Passionate about people, natural health and well being, Juliette deeply believes that helping people is our duty of care as human beings.

    Exploring the world has taught Juliette that our body is our first home…so it feels better if the nest is comfortable!

    Juliette acknowledges that everything moves and changes.

    Helping people genuinely to relieve pain, reduce stress and enhance mobility is her mission.

    Juliette graduated from the Australian College of Natural Therapies and offers her Massage treatments at Teneriffe Osteopathy.

    Gemma Holston Practice Manager

    Gemma has over 10yrs experience working in the Natural Medicine industry, as a practising Naturopath and Massage Therapist, Health food store, managing a healthcare clinic. Gemma feels right at home here at Teneriffe Osteopathy.

    Gemma keeps herself busy raising two rapidly growing boys and enjoys the simple pleasures of life: good food, good coffee, sourcing pre-loved treasures, regularly visiting her childhood home in Northern NSW and spending time at the park/beach with her family.
